The Coronavirus Disease, also known as COVID-19, was first detected in early December of 2019 in the Chinese city of Wuhan and which has now been detected in 50 locations internationally, spreading out in all continents except Antarctica. The highly contagious virus has caught up worldwide attention and caused widespread public panic due to its human-to-human transmission nature. At Transpring, we believe that the safety of our customers using our products is our utmost importance of our business philosophy. Therefore, we'd like to take this opportunity to address some of the concerns may arise from this unfortunate event.
1. STRICT ON-SITE DISINFECTION MEASURES ON ALL PRODUCTS
All products have been through ultraviolet germicidal irradiation and wiping disinfection with 95% medical alcohol before being released to customers.
2. MULTIPLE PREVENTION AND CONTROL MEASURES IN THE WORKPLACE
At Transpring, we take strict measures to protect employees from exposure to and infection with the coronavirus, including disinfecting regularly workplace and dormitory, measuring body temperature, and publicizing “Frequently wash hands, Wear the mask, Keep rooms well-ventilated, and No gathering” among employees. Employees from Hubei are required to be isolated at home. No confirmed cases and suspected cases are found among employees of Transpring so far.
3. A CONTINUOUS DOWNWARD TREND IN NEW CONFIRMED CASES
The number of new confirmed cases has dropped dramatically in the province of Guangdong, where is the heart of China manufacturing, for the last 15 days. In Shenzhen, where Transpring is located, has not heard of any confirmed cases for the past 7 days. As a result, the production is gradually being restored and will be fully operational within a month.
4. CORONAVIRUS IS UNLIKELY TO SURVIVE LONG AND BE TRANSPORTED ON SUBJECT SURFACE
The information from the WHO shows that it is safe to receive goods from China. The coronaviruses do not survive long on objects, such as letters or packages according to previous analysis. People receiving packages from China are not at risk of contracting the novel coronavirus.
